Creating an exceptional Elder experience is a top priority for us. Elder happiness and contentment is based not just on great care-giving, but also on how well we can stimulate their minds, bodies and spirits.

We design a host of daily activities and programs around these goals and encourage Elder involvement. Each care center has an Activities Director who conducts fun indoor and outdoor activities for our Elders to enjoy every day.

Activities range from arts and crafts to day trips to gardening to the always-popular bingo. Elders and families are actually encouraged to give input to the development of each facility’s monthly activity calendar.

The Eden Alternative™ is a powerful tool for improving the quality of life. It creates a better environment eliminating loneliness, helplessness and boredom through close and continuing contact with plants, animals and children. Individual and Group Programs

We offer special programs such as our Fit-for-Life Exercise programs for those wanting to maintain an active lifestyle. We also have Sony Wii tournaments, a computer that is designated for Elder use and many activities that are individualized based upon Elder input.  We also allow our care partners to bring their children in to interact with our Elders.  We truly encourage children and Elder interaction.

Our dining experience is unlike any other. Elders dine in a restaurant-style setting with menus that allow them and their family members to choose the meals they want to eat. From frequent theme dinners such as luaus to special holiday programs and BBQs, we make dining an enjoyable experience.

Family Member Participation

We encourage family members to join us anytime, for an activity, at a candlelight dinner, volunteer to assist us with one of our many outings or become involved in one of our Eden Community Committees. We also value and encourage family input at anytime. Family members, pets and especially children are always welcome.

Other Programs:

Volunteer Program – Assist with activities, decorations, games or outings

Eden Community Committees – Elders, family and community members are welcome to be a part of various committees such as the Plant and Gardening, Children, Animal or Decorating committees.

Community Group Involvement – We encourage churches, schools, Scouting programs, and other community groups to become involved. If your group wants to make a difference, please contact us. We can help create a program that will be meaningful to your group and our Elders.
