Our Mission is to ensure the highest possible quality of life for Elders entrusted to our care so they may achieve their highest level of function. Our Elders and their families are our absolute first priority. We believe in the holistic approach to healing expressed in the Eden Alternative™ by improving the lives of the Elder and their Care Partners by transforming the communities where they live and work.

We must empower our Care Partners to transform institutional approaches to care into the creation of a community where life is worth living.

Mission Care Group operates four skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers in the Central San Joaquin Valley. Each care center provides professional medical services delivering high-quality, hands-on care for short-term rehabilitation services and long-term nursing care.

In our compassionate, safe environment, your loved one comes first and we make it our priority to preserve their self-esteem and dignity. We believe in the holistic approach to healing where our programs and activities are designed to strengthen the body, stimulate the mind and nurture the spirit. Each person that joins one of our communities has the ability to grow, contribute to their surroundings and be well-known by their care partners.

In October 2005, Mark Fisher, President of Mission Care Group, became a Certified Eden Associate.  He became inspired to adopt the Eden Alternative philosophy as the standard for the delivery of care throughout Mission Care Group.  This innovative approach to long-term care seeks to eliminate loneliness, helplessness, and boredom from the lives of Elders who reside in long-term care settings.  This model improves Elders’ lives by reintroducing companionship, a sense of purpose, variety and spontaneity into their day-to-day experience.

The Eden approach also improves the quality of care being given by emphasizing staff empowerment, as well as adopting a team-based system of work.  By moving away from the top-down bureaucratic approach to management and moving decision-making closer to the Elders, Edenizing helps to create a meaningful life for those who reside and work in our communities.    

Families are always encouraged to be a part of our communities of care in keeping with our mission to help people feel welcome and well-known, in a place where life is worth living. Whether you’re just trying to put a smile on your loved one’s face or be there as company during a meal, some of the best healing comes from the care and presence of family.

Our main focus is to ensure that your loved one maintains all of his or her maximum abilities and potential. We hire friendly, licensed professionals who take pride in their job and become like family to our Elders and treat all people and visitors with graciousness.
